When My kids started school I wanted to find the perfect teacher gift, because let's face it,most of these individuals give so much of their heart, soul, time, money, and tears to help make sure our littles are learning as much as they can.
Consumable Gifts are things that can be used up and then they are gone, think candy, drinks school supplies (dry erase markers, highlighters, post-its, ect -many teachers purchase these with their own funds),
Non-consumable Items are fun, but also run more of a risk of being re-gifted so proceed with caution.
If you are giving a gift card, make sure the business is local or can be used online and while gift cards are not always the most fun item to give, they are usually well received. Dress them up with some of these fun "play on word" holders.
If your school allows it, I love to make a donation to the classroom, may it be a particular Item they have been wanting, or just a general cash donation so they can buy toys, supplies, or whatever they need for their classroom that doesn’t fit in the general budget. We’ve done this two years now and it seems well received.
If funds are tight a simple note from you and or your student telling them how much you appreciate them will go along way.
Strongly scented items are always the last on my list since so many people are eliminating fragrance from their home. If you know this is something your teacher uses or enjoys, go for it, otherwise stick with consumables
